Subject: Latop has no power

I have bought a Dell 610 Laptopn a couple of months back.
Most things seemed fine with it till the mouse started wondering off to the corners of the screen and not being able to control it back, I had to play with the mouse pad till it corrected itself.
Now.....the laptop has shut off and won't power up. Not even any signs of power at all.

Have any idea what the problem could be?
