Subject: Installing OS problems on Toshiba 1675 CDS

The problem is that this laptop has both drives (cd-rom n' floppy) damaged, so i took out the hard disk n' placed it on another laptop to install the OS. But when i reinstall it on the toshiba it does not boot neither with win 98 or MS-DOS, shows the message operating system not present or damaged.

I've used this method before with another pair of laptops n' worked just fine, but now simply doesn`t

Any suggestions?
