Subject: Gateway 2500 laptop

I want to thank Jordan for his suggestion. I will try it
right away. Anymore suggestions would help a great deal.

I did take it to a serviceman and he suggested to send it to Gateway. Forget that idea, I might as well get a new one.

Its awful when you know that it was working and nothing appears out of place. The green lite goes on, juice is running, you can hear the cd rom, but the screen doesn't light..The repair man did hook it up to any monitor...nothing...he claims he removed the memory and tried it again...nothing...nothing seems broken on the motherboard...Anymore suggestions?
