Subject: IBM thinkpad 380D restore problems

I'm having problems trying to restore my the factory image from supplied IBM recovery CD. I formated the HD and now all I get off a boot is non-system or disk error, press any key to continue. No, there is not a foppy disk in the drive either. You have any ideas, thanks for your time.
