Subject: Dell inspiron 2500 will not turn on

I had taken out my cdrw/dvd drive from my laptop to check something out. I pushed the power button on my laptop and it started up. While my laptop was still booting up (hibernation mode) I slide the drive back in the slot. As soon as I did the laptop powered off. I have tried everything I know (taking out the cdrw/dvd drive and hard drive. taking the battery out and using ac power only) but it will not come on. If there is anyone knows anything that I could do to resolve this problem it would be much appreciated.
