Subject: How do I install Win 98 on a Omnibook 900 laptop after formating hard drive

I have an Omnibook 900 laptop with an external floppy or CD, but not both at the same time. I had to format the hard drive but I can not figure out how to reinstall Win 98.

When I start the laptop with the floppy connected and the boot disk that I made from Win 98 prior to formating th haddrive, it come back with two options

1) Start with CD Rom support
2) Start without CD Rom support

If I select 1, it comes back with "Device driver not found MSD001, No valid CDROM device drivers installed. A:/>"

I have tried disconnecting the floppy and attaching the CD and the changing the drive to D:/ but it does not recognize it.

I need the CDROM to load Win 98 but I can not figure out how to get the laptop to recognize it .
