Subject: toshiba 1695cdt cpu upgrade

hello,
i am trying to figure out waht kind of a connection the cpu in my toshiba laptop has. i want to upgrade the cpu in it but i dont want to open it or order anything until i find out what i need. i have already put in a 20G hard drive and an extra 128mb of RAM. if anyone has ever changed cpu's or has any suggestions, advice, or information please let me know. this laptop was only used a total of 3 mos by my girlfriends father when the harddrive died and he had no clue what to do. i put in the new hard drive and ram and havent looked back. now i just want a faster processor.

also if anyone can direct me on whether or not i can change my windows xp format from ntfs to fat it would really be appreciated. when i uploaded xp i made a mistake and loaded it as ntfs and i want to change it to fat.
