As far as I know (I'm used to working with desktop PCs), you will need to clear the CMOS. To do this, you will have to open the case. If you are not comfortable with this, or you will void a warranty, then you probably shouldn't try. If you are, then what you will need to do is open the case and find the CMOS battery. This is a flat disc-like object that will probaly be covered with a black plastic. In my Gateway notebook, there were two wires (red&white) that were connected to it. What you will need to do is disconnect that connector and put a screwdriver (anything metal) across the two small terminals right next to that connector. The idea is to completely clear the BIOS settings. This will not erase the entire BIOS, but it will return the BIOS to it's factory settings (i.e. no password). Again, unless you are confident that you will not have to reconfigure much within the BIOS, then don't do this. Reconnect everything and try starting again.

Just a side note- the battery connector may be labeled as RID or something similar on the main board.

Again- do this at your own risk! This should not harm anything, but there's always a chance of damage or getting yourself into something you can't fix.
