I especially like Guess I Just Lost My Head. I like the playful lyrics and that smoky jazz club feeling I get when I hear it.
I also think it could have been a great single. It's really too bad the solo album was not released in 1980 when it should have been. I think it probably would have been a big hit. Maybe even #1. The songs were so different from what we heard Karen singing before and it was a growth that was needed.

Guess I Just Lost My Head is a fine song. It's a favorite of mine. I also like "Make Believe It's Your First", I like Karen's version better than the Carpenters version on "Voice Of The Heart". Though my favorite song off of the album is "Last One Singing The Blues". Karen's voice is very well suited for this bluesy type song. It's a great way to end her solo album.
