A friend of mine called me last night and to let me know he had just seen Karen Carpenter singing "Do You Know The Way To San Jose" with Carol Burnett on The Carol Burnett Show.

Does anybody know anything about this? When was it filmed? Is it available on DVD or VHS? Were the Carpenters on Carol Burnett any other times?

That was the Carpenters only appearance on that show, I'm not sure it's available yet, I understand a Carol Burnett video anthology is in the works, let's hope the Carpenters is part of that collection. Karen and Richard's voices blend very well with Carol's.

I remember that particular show. The three of them performed the Bacharach/David medley the Carpenters recorded in their album The Carpenters..............
