Today, February 4th, 2003, marks the twentieth anniversary of Karen's passing. Although her voice is forever stilled, we can all take comfort in Richard's dedication to keep the legacy of the Carpenters alive. Rest in peace Karen, all of us miss you.

Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down and today is one of those days.
Today marks 20 years since Karens passing, its a very lonely and sad day for me as well as many of her fans who really miss her.

All I can say Karen is "SOMEDAY"
and how I miss the girl and i'd go a thousand times around the world just to say she had been mine for a day.

Karen was a beautiful woman. She filled a part of my life that nobody else was able to fill.
Her voice to this day still brings joy to me.
Thank you, Karen, for the music.

The E True Hollywood story, Featuring Karen Carpenter was aired again for the nth time here. Due to numerous request and in time for her 20th death anniversary. Its been 20 years and yet each time I hear her song over the radio, it seems like it was only yesterday when I first heard her death
