Subject: Carolina Dogwood Pageant - April 26, 2008

40th Annual Carolina Dogwood Pageant is being held in Statesville on April 26, 2008. Deadline to enter the pageant is April 12, 2008.

This year we are giving away over $5000.00 in prizes!!!! Visit www.carolinadogwoodfestival.com for a list of prizes.

The contestant between the Teen and Miss division who sells the most ad pages will win a 3 day/2 night trip to Myrtle Beach.

Come be part of some of the most recognized queens in North Carolina.

Age Divisions:
Little Miss (7-9 years old)

Junior Miss (10-12 years old)

Ms. (18 and up, single, married, divorced)

The Little and Junior Miss will compete in Sunday Best, Casual Wear (Dogwood T-shirt), optional is photogenic. Cost: Required areas $75.00

Ms contestants compete in Evening Gown (w/question on stage) and Casual Wear (Dogwood T-shirt), optional is photogenic
Cost: Required areas $75.00

Teen Princess (13-16 years old)

Queen (Miss) (17-24 years old)*

Teen Princess competes in Interview, Talent, and Evening Gown. Optionals Photogenic and Community Service.
Cost: Required areas $125.00

*The Carolina Dogwood Queen (Miss) is under contract for one year and gets the opportunity to travel all over North Carolina attending over 7 festivals, including the Sun Fun festival in Myrtle Beach and riding in the televised Carrousel Parade on Thanksgiving Day in Charlotte.

Not looking to compete in the Carolina Dogwood Pageant but would like your daughter to be part of the event, think about taking part in the Dogwood Sweetheart Program. If she is between the ages of 5-12, she could be a sweetheart. Miss North Carolina, Jessica Jacobs, will be crowning all the Dogwood Sweethearts at the Queens Pageant this year.
