Jerry I have not heard that report. However, this is such an unusual year I would not be surprised at anything. for instance, just yesterday the Island Tak out of Channel Islands whomped both the white sea bass and the yellowtail at Anacapa. They had live squid, of course, and there has been plenty of live squid in the water in that area. On the other hand, there has been hardly a calico bass bite at all in this area for over six months now. So I guess it is the year almost anything could happen.
