I fished King Harbor earlier this year around July and caught around 12 Bonitas, they were all RELEASED. There has been a public outcry for everyone that catches Bonita to catch and release them. Please do so if you catch them. I did try again in the beginning of September and caught lots of Mackerel and some Sand/Calico Bass. I was fishing from a rental skiff there but I don't know what they are catching now. Try calling the Rental Place, I think it's called Rocky Point something. If you call Redondo Sportfishing, just ask for the skiff rental number and they will give it to you.
