Subject: Pro Gear 255

Has anyone else had problems with salt build up in the PG255?
It seems that on trips of more than a day the reel gets an unusually high amount of salt in it. I take really good care of my reels by taking them apart and throughly cleaning them after every trip but I can't seem to keep up with the 255.

I had mine with me on my 10 day and after 2 days I couldn't even use it. It wouldn't freespool at all.

Has anyone else noticed the same sort of problem?
Does anyone have a reason or theory why salt is a bigger problem to the Pro Gear reels than to Penn, Shimano, Newell, and even Accurate?

Thanks

David
