Hey,
I get to go through east coast fishing tackle stores quite often, and your right! They have those big old ugly rollers on most of their rods over there. They might work just fine. But I think I like my roller guides more "Hydrodynamic". I still want to be able to pull on the fish and keep a good bend in the rod after I fly over the rail (locked in). I dont want bad water flow around my guides restricting my fight! Fight to the end and go with the AFTCO.

I have not yet used the Bigfoot. Does anybody know the real limit to the AFTCO Standard Heavy Duty guides? I see guys using them for 100#....?

Louis
