The overseas recruitment period will probably be around late March to early April if TVB plans to have the semi-final and final in July/August. As soon as you turn in your application, you will be contacted for an interview. In HK, there are two rounds of preliminary interview, and you do have to wear a swimsuit. Most people prefer a bikini over a one piece because it shows more of the physical apects. (You still have LOTS of time to workout, so don't worry!)

I'm not too sure if they hold interviews in the east coast, if it's not available, you might have to fly over for an interview.
