It's good to take a few days off! You come back and Saturday is over. Lol!

I've been a good reader (though the safety of my grappling hooks was a mitigating factor) and I read all three segments.

The "song" segment was just lovely and so touching.

I wasn't surprised by the selective amnesia. I think our ESP was working full force because you didn't hint at all to it, (other than to mention you would be using an old soap twist) and I had a feeling that you might take that direction. Could it be that I've watched soaps too long? No, I don't think so. I've had this feeling since Randi was operated on. Why you ask? Well I remember back when we were writing "Portraits" you toyed with the idea of someone losing their memory, ( I'm not sure if it was M or S now) but I had a feeling you might be going with that in this story and I like it. I have a feeling that we are going to find out more about Randi's and Nick's earlier courtship which should be fun. You know I'm a big fan of flashbacks and back stories. :)

Finally I must say I was a little miffed at Nick's behavior toward Rob in your final chapter. I know it is most likely due to the emotions of the moment and toward the end of your segment we see the two banding together to get Frank Aurora. I loved Rob's and Sunny's brief reunion. It was so bittersweet. I like how Val was trying to support Shane on all fronts. I think in your last chapter you were 100% on target with Val's characterization. I also liked how you had Shane standing frustrated on the sidelines as the wheels began turning in both Nick's and Rob's heads on how to handle this problem. Why do I feel that Shane is in for more headaches? If working with Nick and Val wasn't bad enough! Lol!

And this may surprise you, but I can wait to find out what happens. I know that it will come, and honestly I'm glad for a little breather to figure out where I should go with my group.

CC, Please don't make time fly by too fast in real life or dream sequences though, because I should take some action within the next few Stud's days. Thanks! :)
