Perhaps I should have posted, but I knew I would most likely not make chat this week.

My daughter's ninth birthday was this weekend. She had a sleep over Friday night and though the girls were very good, I still did not get the right amount of rest that I should have. Then today, her actual birthday, we had company, and tonight we went to my sister-in-law's to watch some of the Super Bowl. We mostly talked however since none of us Eagles fans found much to celebrate after last week's disastrous defeat. It was a nice family gathering however and my sister-in-law gave me another wonderful Viggo article with picture. Trust me it was breathtaking and has been added to my ever growing file! :)

Also I made a promise to myself to try to cut back on my computer time which I did well with this weekend. (Hmmmm... perhaps I owe it more to my frantic weekend than to willpower, but I will try to keep up my good work. Now if I could only apply this new found willpower to excercise and diet....) :)

I'd like to close by asking a question. I know we've long held chat on Saturday night. I don't know how SB or Hy can do it when they do join us waking up at such a late hour. Have we ever considered meeting earlier in the evening even if it has to be another night or day? Just a thought.

Oh yes, and finally I'd like to add that I caught S&S twice on Friday while I was cleaning and dusting which only made my efforts at housework twice as long with the frequent breaks I found myself taking especially during the Col. Brandon scenes. Sigh! :)
