Subject: CC, I think this might interest you...

Tonight I saw William Michals. I think you have mentioned that you like his voice, but I could be wrong. My husband's grandmother bought tickets for us to see three shows at our local performing art center at the regional high school. They've drawn some big talent with the likes of Bill Cosby, Tony Danza and Mandy Patankin all playing there this year. We are scheduled to see Joseph and the Techinicolor Dream Coat and Chorus Line later this summer.

Well anyway tonights show was called 100 Years of Broadway and it was superb. The cast performing it were all fairly famous Broadway talent. I wasn't expecting such a professional cast. The music and singing were just lovely. Anyway when I saw the name William Michal, I knew I've heard of him before and I'm almost positive that it was through you. According to his bio, he played Chauvelin from The Scarlet Pimpernel, which I know is one of your favorites. Well anyway his voice was excellent. It said in his bio that musical theater lured him away from his first career opera. He sang solos as did the others, but he did my favorite from Les Mis-Stars and he also performed songs from Man of La Mancha and Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific. I was only 10 rows away from him and during the last song and I swore he looked my way for a short part of the time during that song. *blush! swoon! The man's voice is incredible!* Am I imagining this, or is he one of your favs? This has been eating at me since I first learned he was there. Everytime he took stage, I kept thinking of you. :)
