this is another "notorious" original...however, this seems to comes from the depths of my "Imani" persona more so than "ladyluvjones." Breathe it in....then exhale...

My head is still shaking...and wondering.
My soul is still troubled...and in meditation.
I know what I think I don't want to know.
I am haunted by my own contemplation.
Do I bury my head, heart, and soul in the sand and hope it all blows away?
Do I save myself for tomorrow by running today?
Do I see someone struggling without clarity and look the other way?
Do I tell people be careful of what they pray?
Visions and wisdom are not for the faint of heart
For they require of you a much greater part
And as the tears fall from my eyes
I, too, realized why the prophets cried
