Tangled in a rosebush
where life itself
cuts and makes you bleed,
Yet...
a smile
touches your heart
and gets you through,
Agony may play its part,
But if you remember...
its only temporary,
Those bruises never matter,
Listen to a child's laughter,
And see what I see,
look to a couple
and touch their love,
Rough roads pass on by,
Don't forget to smell the roses
and enjoy life,
For life is to be enjoyed,
Yes...
Reality takes its turn,
But the jurney traveled with an open heart
reveals so many pleasures,
We must not forget to open our eyes.
