Clive I was very interested to read your e mail on the KCC web page. Many people have contacted me regarding these bikes and the police were here in Killay at the weekend in Clyne Valley stopping these people and formally warning them. I have contacted the police regarding them using the ridge. Only this evening(Wed 13th) I had to call them out again as they were causing a nuisance. If you would like to contact me on my e mail address or telephone me on 204136 I would be happy to discuss it with you.
Thanks
Mary

I live in Killay and can see that ridge from my house. It seemed that as soon as the Evening Post printed a story about these off - road bikes that the ridge became alive again with them roaring back and forth.

Unfortunately I am not now able to climb there with my dogs (I need to stay on level ground!) but last year I regularly chatted with these bikers about the nuisance they were causing, and managed to send them on their way several times. However, all I can do now is watch and make the odd call to the local police.

What needs to be done is to catch them riding these bikes home, without licences or helmets and book them!
