No2mast, I have to say that if the mast were to be located next to my house I would have some concerns. ( I am not ashamed to be a nymby, if it comes to it). I think the visuall effect is more to to with it, unless it can be shown that there is a real health danger. If there be any doubt then I believe the powers that be, and the company concerned, should take such into consideration and for their own public relations place these things out of the way of built up areas. A mast has just been erected within 50mts of where I work, I have no objections as there is no visuall desecration. I believe there are far more things about modern life that pose much more danger. That does not alter the fact that I would rather be living in todays modern society than a few generations ago even if it be without all the dangers we now face through modern technology. On the whole I think we are far better off. What is the alternative? Go back to living in small communities with all that is 'green' and have a life expendancy of 35yrs? Or die of Cancer at the age of 80? I know I speak in hyperbolies but I find that is a good way to get things into perspective.

I do not know what the Community Council View is on such matters, I have no part in it, and have no say in it. I suggest you speak to the local elected members. I just run the website and my views are purely my own.
