Subject: Caulking

I'm getting ready to re-sheet my deck and toe piece. Anybody have any good suggestions on caulking brands to seal the new deck to the hull flange and the toe piece to the hull/deck?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks again.

Steve,

Sounds like you're making great progress.

We used 3M 5200 for both operations (deck to hull flange and toe rail to deck/hull flange).

If I had it to do again I would not use 5200 for the toe rail piece of the job simply because where it is sun exposed, it quickly (couple years) chalks. I didn't know this at the time.

Check out how Steve on Spring Moon approached this. His article is in the project section of the MOA site.
