Frank.....Based on what you see in the Mariner history and what (little) some of know, looks like what was built in Holland is the "hull plate"!

The several hull plates on M40's I've seen are (I think) brass and are mounted sort of on the starboard side of main cabin (standing at the entrance hatch..looking forward).

Are you looking at a possible modified Mariner 40?

Yes, its right, some hull plates made Holland, but, I just put a deposit on a 66 M40, Hull#10.........
