Subject: Worm Gear for M36

I am seeking a worm gear for my 1976 M36 Hull #17. It was replaced with hydrolics and I would like to go original. Would a WG out of a M32 work? A new worm gear is like $3,000 and is way more than I can afford. Any ideas on where to find one?
