Subject: Boat transport company

Hello all, I am moving to Neah Bay , WA and may need to get my Mariner cutter to the bay there by truck if the sail up there is too cumbersome. Do any of you have contact info for boat haulers?
Thanks for any help... I am so excited to have the " Blue Sneech" in salt water... after I fix the zincs.
Marcus

Marcus,
I just had my Mariner 31 (Paradigm, hull 100) trucked from San Diego to Portland Oregon by Piazza & Son's boat transport,
PO Box 628, Pollock Pines, CA. 95726 www.usboattransport.com
Sal and Bette did a great job. Please let me know if you would like any additional info.

I am going to transport my M36 from Long Beach, Ca. to the lovely Blaine, Wa. Would you mind disclosing what sort of price you got charged to move your Mariner from San Diego. I'd like to get a feel for what prices to expect.
My Thanks,
Tom

We paid $3,400.00, there were no surprises and they were a real pleasure to work with.

Hi,

For those on the east coast, I just got an estimate from Triton Yacht Transporters. I'm looking to bring my Mariner 40 in NC down to Florida after the holidays $3680.00 to truck it here.

Wow, so many Mariners moving north. We should have a Mariner rendezvous sometime, but not before I get mine in the water, hopefuly by next summer. Port Townsend would be a great place to meet, or somewhere in the San Juans.

I got a "rough" quote to move a M40 San Diego (area) to Port Townsend approx. $6800-7500.

Did (Marcus) just throw a question and "leave the planet"?

Hello all: last week I completed the move of my m31 "Blue Sneech" from Portland, OR. It was shipped by Norguard haulers for 1,400. New antifouling is on and mast is back up, but still needs to be tuned. All my batteries are dead and smart charger is dead. These will be replaced this week. boat yard fees are 20.50/day, and the mast lift cost 350.00 on the hard. I lookforeward to meeting all you NW mariners in the puget sound. I now reside in Neah Bay @ the coast Guard station. Anyone needing info on this last bay before the pacific feel free to contact me.

Hi Marcus,

Great to hear you've landed in Wash, especially, Port Angeles. Alhough I live most of the time near Hilo, I have a home in PA!! In fact, I was up there day before yesterday to spruce things up.

Will be heading up north in a day or two to see if I can acquire a Mariner.

I'm pretty familiar with all the CG stations on the Olympic Peninsula as I spent some 33 years in the CG!Had many TAD assigments to Neah Bay.

Maybe will see you on a visit to PA soon.

Hello: today is planned for the splash. Feel free to give a buzz with mariner questions. I live on the coast guard base, but am not in it. I am medical staff. Look foreward to maybe a mariner meeting this spring near seattle or the san juans.

[> Hull Dimensions -- Connor, - Sunday - 01/30/11 - 9:27pm

I too am trucking an M31 and I need to know the height of the hull. I can't seem to find it on any of the specs/dimensions I've found. If anybody knows the full height of the hull, please let me know.

Thanks,

Connor
