That is heavier than I thought - it being dried wood and all.

About storing them under the boat - has that been effective for you in keeping the UV rays off during winter (along with the other elements - snow, rain, etc.)

Also, is this an anual ritual for you?

I am in the middle of a never ending project to get this thing rebuilt and back in the water. Right now it is in a boatshed on the side of my house. The masts are off and there wasn't room under the shed to varnish them so I had to pull them out to do it. I'm guessing on the weight but it wasn't light and I'm a pretty big guy.
