Hello all: so my boat in in the salt water in Port Angeles, WA, New batteries and shore power charger installed(this is the short version of the story). Can anyone tell me the simple procedure for bleeding the air out of the fuel lines after running out of fuel and changing out the fuel filter bowl? I think its just a 10mm wench on a nut, but am a little lost. BTW Don't trust any mechanic, just because he says he has 27 yrs experience and is after a 10 tone captians licence. I got burned.

I have a 12 volt fuel pump in line between the tank and my Racor. Really helps, pushes the fuel to the injector pump where there is a 5/16 nut on the side. Usually when the air bubble are gone, that's all it takes, but sometimes I have had to crack an injector line as well. I have a second start button below the sink, and that's where I put the switch for the pump as well.
There is no 10 ton CG license as far as I know.
