Subject: Cutlass bearing
In reply to: Steve M-32 SEAN O'Sea 's message, "Cutlass bearing replacement" on - Friday - 08/21/09 - 4:07pm

Finally got the cutlass bearing replaced on Cactus Tree. It was 1 1/8x 1 5/8x 4 1/2. Being in Mexico it only cost double the price on line.
Also had a couple hundred blisters which were not there 3 and a half years ago. Took the hull down to a previous layer of barrier coat/gelcoat, have 4 coats of Amerlock 400 epoxy and am ready to put two coats of Ameron anti-foul. Thinking about putting powdered copper in the anti-foul, it's available here.
