The email address there (info@hori-locks.co.jp) is the one I used to send my query but I still haven't heard back. My brother's friend said he would help and I sent all the information to him (including the picture that Randall posted). I guess there are benefits to having a brother obsessed with collecting old Japanese toys.
Did you end up replacing your whole lock? If you don't mind my asking, how much did that set you back?
