Subject: Hi everybody

Wish every Mariner owner is doing well and sailing hard. I haven't hand the time to do so ( just busy with other things).

Just wanted to say hello to everybody.

I have my mizzen mast down to build a new one, so if anyone interested in measurements or anything... , write about.

After reading a lot about masts, I'm sticking to the wooden ones. Look qood and easy to fix. If you are handy they are cheap, easy and fun to build.

Fair winds.

... I have collected all the materials to build a new one. Just haven't had the time to do it. I could recondition the original but the cable for the VHF is too old and cracked so in order to replace it I should split one of the walls of the mast and instead I have decided to build a new one, where I will run wires for the spreders deck lights as well. On this one I will not cut the hole for the halyard shive because that is where they get rotted. I'll keep using the block I installed years ago.

Thanks again ,

Ardi
