When I bought my boat I had no key, so I took the lock to a locksmith and he made one out of a blank that was close to the profile of the lock work like a charm.

Dear Mr. Holoman:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our key blanks.
Although we stock a limited number of old key blanks (our locks which were used in boats typically date back to the 70’s), they are not released outside the company. If you can advise us of the number stamped on the key, or better still, attach a clear image of the actual key including the number, we can check to see if code cutting is still possible.
The price, depending on key type, will most likely be JPY 800 to JPY 1200 yen (~$10)per key. It should be ready in about three to five working days after confirmation of your remittance by Telegraphic Transfer, and will be mailed to you via Express Mail Service (EMS).
Please note that the only method of payment for overseas orders that we’re able to accept is by Telegraphic Transfer (full payment in advance) and unfortunately, there is a bank service fee of JPY 2500 yen (~$20)per transfer which we must charge along with the EMS S&H fees.
With regard to your request for dealer referral, we’re afraid that we are your only source since our products are made for the domestic market and we do not have any dealers overseas.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation regarding these matters.
Best regards,
K. Watanabe
