Subject: original prop

I have the original 2 blade prop. I seriously doubt I could read any specs on it - its been in the water for 40 years. I could take measurements (its not in the water now). What would you like to know?

Bruce, Randall Reeves has a 3 bladed prop on the "Mariners for Sale" page, (although its been there for sometime). He also states he went back to the 12x6 two bladed prop, probably original. You might see what he has to say. How about it Randall???

I wouldn't recomment the 2 blade prop. I find that it have enough power at slow speeds to use it to manouver the boat. I find my 58' Hudson , with a 3 blade prop, much more manouverable than the 31' Mariner with its 2 blade prop.

Thanks for all the input. I already have a 3 bladed prop, but it is only about 12" diameter. Unfortunatly, I didn't measure it during my last haulout. I have room for a larger diameter. I don't feel I have the control I want with the current prop. Who has a three bladed prop that they like, an what size and pitch is it? Randall, why did you change back?
