Sean,

I-J-P etc. dimensions, are actual sail dimensions gathered through a painstakingly process of owner submissions and sailmaker records. Of course you could go a little shorter (by an inch or two) if you find a great deal on a used set.

Wonder if anyone could give me the length of the Dolphin Striker on the Mariner 40. Long story involving storms at sea, and all that but it disappeared in a night at anchor with rough weather and I need to make a new one.
Also.. in that vein of thought... has anyone come up with a sensible anchor technique that doesn't drag the anchor rode across the Bobstay? Between chafe on the rode and pressure on the stay in the area of the striker ( a bad place to be )... anchoring is aggravating. All I've come up with is a bridled rode between the fore hawer just off the bow and a line to the the rear to keep her sideways to the rode and eliminate a swing across the bobstay.
