Subject: Alum Mast

Well it has been quite awhile sense my last post, after a 4 year refit we sailed Tivoli from CT to Southern FL. We sailed around that part of the country for 3 years. Two years I put Tivoli on the hard in Green Cove Springs and moved to Indianapolis for work. I am now in Perth Amboy NJ and planning to bring Tivoli back home this Spring (By Truck...). My question is actually about her masts, I would like to move to alum masts. Any ideas were I might be able to secure a main and mizzen for a 40 foot Mariner? Thanks for any help...
Hi Bill, hope all is well.

Hi, Mike, good to hear from you.
We had superb aluminum masts fabricated for Ta' Ata Ori by Port Townsend Rigging, in Port Townsend, WA. Sort of out of your neighborhood, but they did an excellent job, with service after the sale. You can find them on the web.
BTW, we sold Ta' Ata Ori last summer and now, after over 50 years as a sailor, I am a tugboat skipper.
Fair winds,
