Subject: Interested in buying

I am interested in purchasing a Mariner Ketch 40 from a friend of mine. This boat needs cosmetic work and has not been sailed in several years. Is there anyone that would be interested in taking me out on their Mariner 40 so I can understand better what I would be getting myself into, as an owner of one of these boats? I live in North Carolina but would be willing to travel to have this experience. I would also be willing to provide compensation for this experience.
