Subject: Mizzen Staysail

Hello All,
I am in the process of purchasing a mizzen staysail for my Mariner 36. I installed an extra mizzen halyard yesterday. The sail that I am thinking about is:
Luff 28' 8"
Leech 23' 6"
Foot 21' 9"
It is 3/4 oz nylon wire luff.
The description is "Loose luff, drifter, miter cut, very good condition.
I know is is a very large for a mizzen staysail, but I am looking for some power, with the wind aft of the beam, in very light conditions.
I believe I should also install some running back stays.
If anyone has any thoughts on the sail or the running back stays let me know.
Thanks,
Brian
Gran Mariner 1973 M36 Hull 9
