Subject: Stainless Window Trims

Can someone tell me the width of the stainless window trims and the setback from the edge for the screws.

I am having to fabricate new trims from polished stainless, not sure if the width is 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 with a set back of either 1/2 or 5/8 from outside edge.

Thanks Hal

If anyone has a set they would like to sell, it would save me a lot of trouble and expense.

Have not been able to login, page won't load.

If anyone has a set of 4 window trims available, I would be interested to purchase.

My email is midcoastboats@gmail.com

Thanks,
Hal

[> [> Window trim for Mariner 31 -- Bruce, - Monday - 01/11/21 - 12:16pm

Hal- I have 3 SS trim pieces that I found in the forepeak of my Mariner many years ago. They are one each of each sie. I've had them hanging in my storage/workshop since then. Mine on the boat are bronze, so I have no use for them.
I'll send you a pic of what I have to your email & if they work for you (and I can get them gone so I can hang something else up) you can have them for free.
Thanks,
Bruce

[> measurements -- Caleb Ardea #115, - Monday - 01/11/21 - 2:59am

Hi Hal

On our M31 the window trims are 34mm wide and 16mm screw set back from outer edge of the trim. Sorry about the metric we're from NZ.

Cheers

Want to say thank you to the replies for information and to finding 2 trims so far.

Look forward to more replies.

Thanks,
Hal
