Subject: Leaving the group

It is time for me to leave the owners group. Our wonderful Mariner 40 Sea Trek has been purchased and is now in the possession of her new owner. After 17 years of living aboard and extensively cruising her we have made the decision to sell and almost immediately after putting her on the market in Beaufort, SC she was sold. It has been great but it is also time to move on. We hope the new owner enjoys her as much as we did and perhaps he will stop by the board occasionally.

Chuck,

Thanks for contributing your experiences to the board over the years. We wish you the best for your next endeavor.

If the sailor-man's salutation is "Fair Winds, mate!", then for your motor boating adventure, let us wish you "Clean diesel, fine filters, and props of shining gold ... mate!"--although I must admit, that lacks a certain romance, don't you think? :)

RR

have to agree Randall but all things don't stay the same and if you can believe it we are getting bored. New experiences and new cruising grounds and a totally different perspective rejuvenates the lifestyle. It is like beginning all over again.
