I'm starting the same process only a little smaller.
Just think about when it's all done. It'll feel great.
At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Hi Mike,
I tried to email you but it bounced back, I got your email address from the owners page, must have changed. Anyways if your going to Oriental NC, be sure to stop at Whittaker Creek Yacht Harbor and see Knute the owner. He's a nice guy and he can show you where the boat is. I'm in Florida right now and won't be going back to Oriental till March. I'll be getting the boat prepped to be hauled out of the water in April or May. I live year round in Palm Beach County Florida but will be using Oriental as a get away spot. We have lots planned to get done this spring and summer. Would love to see Tivoli up close if your ever in the area. Could you send me an email with your current email adress? Would love to keep in touch, might have a few questions down the road since you have the same boat. Sure wish I could be doing what you both are right now but that will come in time. This is not going to just be a refit but a restoration with as much original as possable. Hope to hear from you soon.
Terry

Terry,

I have included an updated email..We purchased Tivoli 4 years ago, she was in tough shape as well, no engine, plumbing, nothing. I put in a new Westerbeke and did a number of things to get her in sailing condition. She is far from complete, but we love her. Do not hesitate to contact me with questions. Another great source is Lawrence Killingsworth, he owns Ta Ata Ori, and without a doubt one of the most beautiful 40s you will ever see. Lawrence has helped me out tremendously.. Hope to talk to you soon and maybe we will be able to see your 40 in Oriental when we pass through
