Brian, do a search on this site for "keys". I to have the Hori lock so don't know if this will help or not but some 20yrs ago I had a local locksmith make me a spare key. The blank says its from the "Independent Lock Co." out of Fichville Mass. blank #888.
Mark

Long time lurker .. I own a mariner 36, hull #3.
I have 2 keys I acquired from the previous owner. Solid brass marked Ilco 52B. They are still in the Ilco inventory. go here: http://www.kaba-ilco.com/key_systems/literature/literature_grid_key_blanks.aspx?id=55
and download the "bit and Barrel" pdf catalogue. search for 52b. looks just like what I have, though the previous owner pierced and filed a pretty cool skull into the grip of one of mine. :-)
Presumably a local locksmith should be able to order it?? though I havn't tried.

Don and I were at the local True Value hardware store and they had a replacement key that fit our 1979 Mariner 40. The cost -- $3.99!
