I've got a whisker pole -- not a true spinnaker pole -- that is 17 feet long. Carbon fiber. Weighs 14 pounds and hooks onto the main mast with a harken traveler system. Works like a charm when I need to wing out the genoa or the spinnaker drifter. Port Townsend Rigging made it for me when they re-rigged Ta' Ata Ori.
