Good morning, Terry (and Mike and Paula, too) --

Well, best wishes for success with your restoration project, Terry. We didn't have as much to do when we bought Ta' Ata Ori, but we've done a lot -- as you can see from the photos on this web site.
I'm no expert in boat restoration -- other than I know it always costs more and takes longer than you think it will -- but I'll be glad to answer any questions and help out any way I can. Mike is more the expert in rebuilding a Mariner 40 from the keel up. But anyway, don't hesitate to ask. I can take pictures of Ta' Ata Ori and e-mail them to you, make measurements, etc., if such things might be helpful in your project.
Ahoy, Mike and Paula. I'm vicariously sailing with you down the coast. Sounds like you're in "full cruising mode" now and loving it. Good for you. Some of us are still sitting at desks under fluorescent lights, but, hey, "our day will come." Thanks for blazing the trail, or sounding the channel or whatever metaphor might work best.
80 inches of snow on the ground in Spokane, with freezing fog today, but I'm with you, tucked in behind the Outer Banks.

Fair winds, blue skies and all that nautical stuff,

-- Lawrence
