I've got the old HORI key too. Have tried many locksmiths in San Francisco, but none have the same style blank. Will probably need to bust out the latch when this key goes in the drink.

I've always thought the rudder on Murre looks larger than the rudder in the M31 drawings AND as if the trailing edge has been extended 3" or so at the top to as much as 6" at the bottom. Don't know if mine is unusual OR the drawings not accurate to what was produced by Far East.

I agree w/Mark's response. The 4107, especially w/a three blade prop, has the power to offset a lot of low speed maneuvering issues. But she's never going to steer like fin keel boat.

The former owner of Cactus Tree found a locksmith in the L.A. area to make another key, so they can be found. He also wanted to save the original lockset.
Cactus Tree has a 12x7 LH two blade sailor, and the 4-107,
seems to handle allright for me.
Randall, Murre's rudder is the same as Cactus Tree.
Doug.
