I've never had any trouble getting them from the auto parts stores. Get the brand and number off the old ones and depending the parts store, they may have to order them, but parts are quicker to get than most orders.

These engines are the same as mf tractors. napa or any autoparts store who carries farm filters should have them.

My 4-107 has a retro fitted oil filter that hangs on the bulkhead, easy to change and takes a Fram PH8A filter.
Easy to get even here in Mexico.

My mechanic told me over breakfast yesterday (it pays to buy your mechanic breakfast!!!) to be careful about installing the external filter on either the 4-107 or 4-108. The hoses must be installed correctly, especially if you are using genuine Perkins filters because it has a built in check value. If the hoses are backwards, no oil!

My mechanic is a very scary guy...
