Subject: Head sink replacement

My M31 is a 1970. The head sink and counter top are one of the same. Has anyone removed the unit. My sink is still okay but the faucet needs replacing and given the tight space, I wondering if it wouldn't be easier to remove the whole unit to replace the faucet. The trim around the counter top was very well done originally and I don't want to distrub it if the counter top doesn't come out that way. Thanks. I still need a new pump for the vacu-flush toilet.
