Subject: Mrs. Miles makes sure that there are not personal relationships with the local directors and the local judges. (in the past she has NOT enforced this with Michelle...remember Aiken last year?). Mr. DeFusco judged STATE, not Michelle's pageant, so it doesn't matter that they are friends. The conflict arises when DeFusco fails to acknowledge his relationships with contestants or he has a relationship with Mrs. Miles. Proving this will NEVER happen, but the writing is all over the wall.
