As I mentioned the only gossip seems to stem from states with prelims? I think it is because prelim winners "really" think they have an advantage coming in and they don't, they can't handle, get mad and have to blame someone. -- SOUTHERN PAGEANT GOSSIP

I disagree with you. I don't believe the gossip comes from the winners...I feel it comes from the non-finalists or runners up. THEY feel they have already been beat, therefore, THEY attack the winners as if it will "hurt them" at state. If prelims did NOT exist, the fussing would only be right after state (mostly sour grapes) and it would be OVER in a couple of weeks.
